I have some great news! Wendy Davis has offered to take on being the
Director of the Club! Others have offered to help her with this venture. I
feel this new breath of life will be just what the doctor ordered for the
health of the Club.
The first change will be the meeting time. We are going to try meeting at
10 AM. One o'clock kinda broke up the day for many people.
You will be hearing from Wendy soon. Please give her the same level of
support that I have enjoyed these past couple of years. I am exc

Congratulations Wendy.
On behalf of your fellow genealogist from this list, I would like to thank
you for stepping up to the plate in taking over for Mike. Your leadership
will continue to provide a great service for all of us.
We are truly grateful for your willingness to take charge, as it insures us
the opportunity to continue the camaraderie with those who are of like mind
and spirit.
Mike did a wonderful job, and we will miss him. I am confident however,

HI WENDY,
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW JOB. I AM SURE YOU WILL DO JUST FINE.
I TOO AM UNABLE TO ATTEND THE MEETINGS AS I LIVE IN ILLINOIS. I WOULD
APPRECIATE RECEIVING THE PDF FILES OF WEBSITES. PLEASE ADD ME TO YOUR
LIST. GOOD LUCK and THANKS.

Wendy:
I am a member of the club, but live in TN. Is there any way that you could
get us out of towners a copy of the spread sheet list? It might be helpful
to us also. Thanks Bunches

Hello all,
The web link list will be handed out at the meeting... and for those out of
towners (or those unable to attend the meeting) the list will be made
available after the March 5th meeting. I think that I will put it in PDF
format and email it out to those requesting it and then they can print it
out from their computer. I still have a lot of work to do to it. I don't
want to add it to the genealogy page because links change so often and would
be difficult to maintain and monitor for dead link
Hi Mike,
I too, am sorry to hear that you must step down, but we all understand, just
how busy you have become over the last several months. Perhaps Don would be
willing to help. Wendy and the Jordans too. You leave the Club solid as
you made it!
Bon Voyage & the Best
of Luck,
Pete

I can`t make the meeting, but could anyone find the info on my relative
Eva Page who lived in Cameron, Pa? I would like to know when and where
she died. Does anyone do this for a fee? Her son George L was born around
1857, /after that I know nothing about her whereabouts . I think her
full name was Susan Evelyn Rockwell Page.Born in MO.
Hi .I also am not able ro make the meeting but would appreciate being put
on the list
for receiving the pdf file of websites.
Thanks

Wendy, perhaps it would save you a lot of sorting and sending, if you were to place the .pdf in its entirety on the Cameron County site, as a link. That way folks who are interested in viewing the list, can access it, and print it from there. You wouldn't necessarily have to update each time an address for an individual link changes, as you might do if you listed each link separately.
Once the list is printed, it would then be the printer's responsibility to access the actual websites, and to update t
Wow, I am impressed already. I knew with all of the different resources out
there that some of us would have some that many of us have never tried. I
think this is going to be a great resource! Keep 'em coming-
Thanks.

I love the genealogy meetings-I was running a little late to the last one
and was dissapointed that it was cancelled. I would be willing to help to
keep things going and I am sure many others feel the same. I hate to see you
step down Mike, you have down wonderful things starting and organizing the
group. Without you the genealogy of Cameron County would still be kept a
monopoly and I feel that our local history and genealogy is something that
we should all share and enjoy as a hobby. See you Saturd
Wendy:
I do not live in Cameron Co (or PA, but Tennessee). My family has roots in
Cameron Co. I want to commend you for taking this task "by the horns" &
leading it onward. I wish you all the best.
Even if Mike is not sending out the news updates anymore, those updates will
be just as welcomed by all of us. Everyone is replaced at some point in
time & now is the time to show our support to a new "leader".
Welcome & I am very happy to hear from you.

Da
Mary Ellen,
us-census.org is my second favorite web page!
Good luck, I hope you get some volunteers for transcriptions-I am over
loaded right now and I am a two finger "typer" so I am not a good person to
volunteer!
