There were 7 CADE-CRUMP children. Child #6 was Robert Jr.(b1723) whose son

There is a CADE-BOYKIN son name Drury (b c1778) who m. Sarah EASLEY.
Robert also had a ggrandson Drury (b1844) from his son Bedford CADE.
All this brings me to their step brother James Worsham PACE (b

Bulletins, Vol II (1999 compilation).
Bob, there are several Pace relatives in North GA who might share copies of
this bulletin with you, but I know you can also find a copy at the Old
Edgefield District Gen Soc library. I will also scan and send to you via
separate email a copy of those 2 pages. I trust that you'll be able to

I found the new Pace Site but I am lost. I want to post a Will in MS but
there is no category for a will, only a general category. Darlene, should I post
it there? Also, there is no one's e mail to e mail and ask questions. Darlene,
yours is hidden so this is the only place that I could think of to get hold
of you! Julie
Sorry should have waited to get them all in .. under same list, I won't alway let this list knowm but I plan on adding as much as I can, especially since BettyPace and Marian and I are trying to find info on the John Pace of Surrey, Any one else interested. I figure that John in Surrey Co is going to tie into Gordon's Wm Pace line as his bro John.
I just cannot pass up other earlier Pace's as know it so important and as long as Jim lets me Post I will.

Thanks to all who responded to my query about the various Drury Paces. It
appears that the given name of Drury only appears in those lines whose DNA
test results fall into group 3A. Just as the names of Alsa and Dempsey only
fall into group 3B. This could be helpful information when trying to sort
out the DNA results and lineages. I have created a larger chart in excel
format with more names, dates etc. I have numbered each individual so that
they may be discussed without relating them to a birthdate or a w

<< Can anybody tell me why Richard Pace isn't listed on the Jamestown
muster for 1924/5?>>
On page 12 of Bruce Howard's book he summarizes his theory, but speaks
of musters in 1623 and 1624 not 1625. He believes that each person in
charge was required to make out the muster for the plantation or area
that he was in charge of. He believes Richard made out both musters for
his area and did not include himself or his family.
This of course is theory not fact.
Some time between 1624 and 1626 Richard died. In

I came upon this information about an historic house in in James City Co.

purchased by Robert ("King") Carter for his daughter Elizabeth . Her son

Darlene & Betty. A DAR PATRIOT and a Rev War Soldier are not one and the same. A Rev War Soldier is only one of several ways an ancestor can be listed in the Patriot's index. Several of my son's 12 PATRIOTS qualifying him for SAR (& his daughters for DAR) do not have Military service records. They are PATRIOTS because of the fact that they demonstrated that they were sympathic to the American Revolutionary cause. For instance, my Lutheran minister Patriot asked his

The DNA of Darlene's cousin matches that of
William Pace and Sicely of NC(was she Cicely Walker/)
and is there also a connection to the descendents
of John of Middlesex.
I believe my family can be traced to William, son
of John of Middlesex.
Since there was also a Jesse in this line and
the Walker name is used as a middle name for
both my grandfather and my mother, I would
like to know of any possible connection to the

Josephine Pace is also mentioned briefly in Pace Society Bulletins Vol 1,
page 388:
Josephine, b. 6/29/1860, is shown on the 1870 census of Henry County GA as
age 9, living with her siblings: Augustus (John Augustus Delaware Pace) age 21
(b. 10/18/1848), Lucy A. 19, and Rebecca 16. It also shows her marriage in
Henry Co, GA to John Barton on 12/24/1889.

You are correct that William Pace (m. Ruth Lambert) is in group 3a. But it
is interesting that the fact that William named a son Drury appears to be an
important clue regarding the correct ancestry of this William Pace.

I have a request for funding from a sub-line that we do not have in the
DNA chart yet, but is likely in group 3a. The line from great

Robert Pace ca 1785-ca1850
George Pace (from her on as per John's chart)

Darlene,
What the DNA shows rather conclusively is that your cousin who submitted
the DNA could NOT be of the John of Middlesex line. That's an entirely
different and very unique haplogroup, Haplogroup 1, while your cousin is
R1b.
Also, his DNA matches the John-Sarah Pace group in the two critical
alleles, marked in blue on the chart, which distinguishes group 3a from
group 3b. (He is clearly in 3b.) He did have one mismatch in marker 2
(shown in green on the chart) which would leave him matching 24/25, n
We are now up to $110 (with possibility of a little more from one
contributor) for this line. I would really like to go for a 25 marker
test. Any others? The enthusiasm seems to have slowed a little.

From our 3 ASHLEY submitters we have *exact* 25 maker matches with four
