I would very much like to have those E-Mails concerning Capt. John Pace's documents. Thank you for offering them to us. Sharon Downey. skcj623@midwest.net.
WARNING:
If you receive an email from someone in the Pace Network and it has an
attachment that says "Take a look to the attachment" at the bottom DO NOT
OPEN THE ATTACHMENT. I received one from a pace network person and opened it
thinking it was genealogical info that I had requested and my computer got
infected. I had to delete almost 20 .dll files and a couple of program files
because my NAV program couldn't inoculate it.
I received an email from another pace network person saying that I had giv

Leigh,
Father of John Pace m. Elizabeth Montague was John (of Middlesex) Pace
m. (1) Elizabeth Newsome and (2) Mary Murray. I believe that
generations prior to John (of Middlesex) are still unproven. Anyone
else please correct me if I'm wrong on any of this.

I to just received an e-mail from a strange address following up on my answer
today to Gordon. It had an attachment and said in the body of the message
"take a look to this attachment". I do not open attachments from anyone sent
thru rootsweb, and rarely open them from anyone. I don't send them either,
unless I give advance notice.

In a recent message Porter Rockwell (PR) submitted a list of
cemeteries in Utah. Thank you PR.
In the St. George Cemetery there was a listing "Pace, Lucinda C.
Strickland, 16 June 1805-11 Mar 1897". I wonder if this could be
Lucinda Gibson Strickland, first wife of James Pace, son of the James
Pace that died in the battle of New Orleans. They were married in
Rutherford County, Tennessee, moved to Illinois, then to Utah with
the Brigham Young move there.
PR, the initial "C" is the uncertainty. Can

I made an error in my last post by deleting too much of the last
sentence. It should read after deleting the "or" and adding a "." "We
never evaluate them in the light of current standards."
Sorry I did not proof more carefully.

Recently the book Albion's Seed was mentioned in a post. This
book is a MUST for all serious colonial Virginia researchers. The 200
plus pages on Virginia, details the customs, teachings and attitudes
that prevailed in the colony in their social, religious, political,
cultural and educational lives. We need this to correctly evaluate and
analyize the records found during this time period. We should never
analyize or evaluate them in the light of current standards.

Hello , I receieved a virus a couple of months ago from the BURNS list of rootsweb, I think it has infected the surname lists in general, I did learn a few things I would like to share with others. If your email is through Outlook Express and you have McAfee Virus protector, this program does not protect your email. You need Norton Antivirus Program to protect your outlook express. Another thing is I never did receive an attactment to any of the email sent to the BURNS or PACE lists, all I had to do was ope

But I did let them take my blood. BYU is located in Provo about 3 hours

All, we have all had or seen some type of virus on our personal computers. A
good rule of thumb I guess would be, any email from the PACE-L roots will
never have an attachment with it. I do not believe that attachments can even
be sent using this form of list. Simply DELETE any email that has an
attachement (or says it has) along with it concerning this list. It will be
nothing be trouble. I believe this should be a helpful forum, your email was
such! Terry Pace (Pace-L rootsweb member)

Hello again fellow Pacers....I just received email from the PACE list from a JOHN & LOIS CAREY, they had replied to the email I sent earlier and at the bottom it had "TAKE A LOOK AT THIS ATTACHMENT" I immediately deleted it then deleted the deleted mail folder. I haven't noticed messages on the PACE list from those 2 members before, but please don't open that email..DELETE IT !!!! Gordon, I'm sorry I know this email does not pertain to Pace Genealogy but do you have a way of finding out who this couple is
