Jennie, Thank you for the information! I do have many ancestors buried at State Line, and many of them attended the State Line Church. I think one of them may have been an early found of the church, so I will use your resources to see if I can find any more information on them. Thank you again for your reply! Linnea

8. Re: [Crawf'rd] Cyrus Greene 1880 census McKean Co., Otto Twp., PA [0.985378]
Betty, there are a whole passel of Greenes in Otto township itself, let alone the rest of McKEan county. If you can give me some idea who you might be looking for, I can transcribe the data and send it to you. Most of the Greenes (with an 'e' on the end) are from New York. So, do you know anything else about what Greenes you might be hunting in 1880? It looks like Cyrus had lots of company in Otto Towship in 1880. Can you narrow it down? You may have to check to see if the photographer holds the copyright, not necessarily the studio. Copyright law covers 50 years. Good luck. Hi, Listers ~ I was curious about the cemeteries also. I have a relative said to be buried in Harmonsburg, but did not see a listing on Tom Yoset's site. Would you know where I could find more information on that location? Is that a large city with alot of cemeteries or could I get lucky and it only have one? Thanx for any help you can give! I am hitting my delete key like I always do, but wouldn't a discussion that has been going on several days about people who lived in McKean Co be better received if it was taking place on the McKean County list ? Nancy, My original question was that I wanted to know which county State Line was in. I have been there before, but wasn't sure if it was in Mercer or Crawford. My ancestors mostly lived in Ohio, but did business in Jamestown, and some are buried in State Line. The names I am researching that would be at State Line are McCormick, Bates/Betts, Kinne, Royal. I am related to F.Y. Royal through marriage (his second wife was Emily Pratt- I descend from her daughter, Nancy Wade McCormick) from a fi

Bev, From this email it does look like the Clyde E Williams and Clarence are brothers. Clyde married my ggrandfather's(Newton Earl Powell, husband of Maude Marie Anderson) sister,Florence Anne Powell Stenger. She was to have been married to a Samuel Stenger and widowed in 1925. Her children's info says their father's name was Samuel Stenger but other than that I really haven't located him. I will dig up that marriage application and send you a copy by postal mail if you want.Let me know.

Also, a couple of years ago I typed the 1940 Evergreen Cemetery List of Lot Holders to the Crawford County List. If you type in the URL http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.p1. Then type PACRAWFO in your search...........and then when that window comes up type in the name your searching for or Evergreen Cemetery and check 1998, you should be able to view the Lot
