Can you provide a clue as to where in the world they lived? I presume
it is somewhere in Dauphin County, PA, but there are SO MANY Gingrich

Haven't heard from you in a long time. Hope things are well.
Don't know if this is much help, but I have an Edwin (Edward)Francis Engle
b. 2-7-1888 d. 1959. His parents Daniel H. Engle and Emma Jane Bordner.
I only have Jane Stoneroad. Is Susannah a first name that she didn't use.
Who is Susannah Jane Stoneroad? What branch is she hanging on? Have you
learned anymore about the "real old" Stoneroads?

This is my first posting to the Dauphin Co. list. I live in southern
California
and am a music teacher by profession, but my other love is family history.
My Dauphin County connection is George Jacob KING who married

abt 1780 in Dauphin Co; Jacob married Mary SELLS, dau of Ludwick Sells
and Catherine DEARDORFF.
Recently I posted a query on the Dauphin Co. Query Forum; a few days later
I received a notice that my query had

Does your book have anything in it regarding the old Hoffer Cemetery and the

Does anyone know anything about this tract of land, called AYRESBURG?
Here is a tiny excerpt from the Commemorative Encyclopedia of Dauphin
County, being put online by Bob Maley...
AYRES, JOHN, son of William Ayres and his wife Mary Kean, was born
February 9, 1754. At the age of twenty-one years, accompanied his
father and family in their movement to Paxtang township, Lancaster,
now Dauphin county, Pa.; subsequently became the owner of the homestead
there established, and added thereto a certain tract

Hello to both lists...
www.genealogylinks.com is one site I use often... it has been constantly
updated/added to... for most click on United States then scroll to the
section where it says over 60,000 records click on it then either click
on National or State search engine...
There are several surnames u will find of ones you think may be lost...
I have found the wunderlust in my families thru this site I have found
why they are not listed in PA for different time periods...and then show
up back in PA...
There is a Hoffer cemetery in Conewago Twp. #127 in the book. It's located
in the southern part of Dauphin County.
