Would you mind seeing if there is a Leonard Snyder born about 1782 or so, He
was still living in 1850 but not sure if he was shortly after. Hoping to find
a Will or something that shows his wife, children, etc. Don't know wife's
name. I believe he may have been a widower in 1850 he lived in Darby, Delaware

Hello All,
First, I apologize to those who may receive this more than once because I am
cross-posting to get the best answers. I have many old photos and newspaper
clippings from the 1800's and early 1900's which have been passed down
stored in shoe boxes and the like. I was thinking of storing them in 3-ring
binders inside of Avery page protectors. I will not be pasting or taping
them, just placing them in loose. I am concerned that the page protectors
may stick to the faces of the pictures and p

Hi...
I am wondering if anyone can help me identify possible Luthern Churches in
Chester where I might find marriage records for my great great aunt, who married

Thanks so much!

Dear fellow listers:
I number of you have written to me, saying how much you missed my annual
ghost story posting. I am sorry, too - I have quite a long list of ones
gathered from research over the years. I am planning on publishing a book of these
stories, once I get through some family concerns which are taking most of my
free time.
Unfortunately, posting the one I did last year led someone on the list to
appropriate it for a paid magazine job. So I do not feel free to share any
more unless
My great grandfather, Oscar Konrad, owned a furniture store called Konrad & Son on Edgemont Avenue in Chester in the 1940s.
Does anyone have any suggestions about how to find out more information about this business? What sorts of information is available about businesses and business owners from that time period?
I'm fairly familiar with researching people, but have never researched a business before. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Deb
