A quick note to let you all know that I've finally gotten the cemeteries
redone on the Chester site ( http://www.rootsweb.com/~pacheste/chester.htm
). They are now far easier to view and the search engine for the listings
is up and running. If you enter a surname to search, it will return every
entry in the cemeteries database that includes that name, whether it
appears in the primary surname or as a parent or spouse. While the database

Hello,
I am searching for the family of Samuel Thomas POWELL b. abt 1797(?).
Samuel married Sarah MORTON who was born 1797 in Brownsville, Fayette Co.,

these families seem to be from parts of Chester Co. that became Delaware
Co. I am wondering if Samuel T. POWELL's family might be from Delaware Co.
also?
I know that the MORTONs and TAYLORs were originally Quakers. There is some
indication that the POWELLs might have been "Dunk

When the children were quite young, they moved to Mechanicsburg, PA then in
1811 or 1812 they moved on west to Cad
