I don't know how many of you are Winslow descendents, but there was a very interesting article in the DuBois Courier Express yesterday about the efforts of one Kathy Myers to save the "Winslow House" in Benezette. Apparently, this house was built between 1850 and 1860 by George Wait Winslow, a son of Carpenter Winslow, Jr. The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy bought the land as elk habitat and was going to tear the house down.
