-Kate GASKILL was very much tickled with the grapes
-SMITH Family moved and the KISTLER Family has moved in
-Arch had a fever and Will wants to write him

I have followed closely the Cementary Lists and Locations on the lists the last several weeks. I am particularly interested in James Watson b.1724/25 in Prince Georges Co. Md. I think he found a Henthorn fresh from Ireland (Mary or Ann) --went to Fayette Co, Pa. and lived and died there! The good women has been Mrs Watson for 2 1/2 centuries! The aforementioned James Watson is often confused with my gggggrandfather who married Mary Greene I believe the two James' are cousins but have n

It is very disappointing to see all the complaints, such as "this List isn't

No, it is not forbidden - simply moved to another list. Unfortunately,
as of this morning, there has been nothing posted to this new list. It
would be an easy task for some kind person to go to the Herald Standard
website each day and cut and paste those obits into emails and send them
to the list as had been done in the past - any volunteers?

I like the way it is now. Maybe there aren't any answers to the hard quires.
Give it time for others to get back in the grove. I think some of us are
hitting Reply and the answers are going just to the senders. I have to
remember to hit "reply all" so the answer goes to the whole list. That could
be reset.

everyone to let other listers know what it is you are looking for and maybe we can

Dates are from about 1800 to the present day in Fayette County.
All SAMPEY names starting with Daniel Sampey who moved to Fayette County by
the 1810 census but previously was in Montgomery County Pennsylvania (1790
census). I cannot find him on the 1800 census. Married at least twice and had
two families, one in Montgomery County and one in Fayette County. Probably was
in Maryland in the 1800 census but I can't find him.
Descendents of Ellen (SAMPEY) MC CULLOUGH. Where was she on the 1900 census?
Am looking for SKS that is able to do a lookup for me. Am looking for any info on the following family that lived in Everson and is buried at Scottdale Cem. Various spellings of: Levai, Levay, Levey, Levoy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not my family, just doing a favor for someone through RAOGK. Thanks in advance, Wanda

SOMERSET COUNTY VITAL RECORDS
Regular readers of this list may recall that in 2003, I made a Subject Index,
on CD-ROM, of the "Laurel Messenger" Journal of the Historical & Genealogical

Somerset & Fayette Counties, and I have made a few copies for anyone requesting it.
Since then, I have been working on a new index, "Somerset County Pennsylvania

I am interested in information on the William and Susan (Wineland) Caldwell

Wineland but not sure.
I have no information on William Caldwell other than their marriage.
