For Shirley, who wanted to know the township for State Line too. Everyone agrees that it is in Antrim Township. My thanks to all the kind people who contributed this information. Now, round two. I went to my local Family History Center today and went through the census for Antrim Township in 1860. There was no mention of State Line. Hello List, I am trying too find info on an asylum in Franklin County. I have been told of a Poor house but have not been able too find any info on it. Was the Poor house and the Asylum one and the same? Or were they together at one time and divided into separate homes? Hi All, Just wanted to let everybody know about the wonderful source that I found to search the Pa. Libraries! It is called the Access Pennsylvania POWER LIBRARY. I found it on the Erie Co. Pa. Library site (www.ecls.lib.pa.us) which has a number of searches, including the Penn State Library. Anyway, I now have a list of source books to take in for the inter-library loan program. Frank: I have a copy of the "History of Pine Grove Furnace" by Lenore Embick Flower which was published by The Cumberland County Historical Society in 1975. Unfortunately, none of your ancestors are mentioned as being associated with its history. The Ege's are the primary family associated with the furnace.
