Pamela, I am looking for Andrew BAR son of Hans Michael and father of Daniel.
Andrew was born in Lancaster County Pa in 1730. What I need to know is who
was his wife and mother of my Daniel born in 1755 in Somerset County Pa. One
person told me that there was an Andrew BAR that was a Captain in the Rev war
and I would like to find out if he was the one that is Daniels father and
have a source to give DAR on him as my second Patriot.

Is anyone else researching FARRAR family? I was told by a family member that
there were two Farrar brothers, Peter and John who died in 1766 on the
British prison ship the Jersey. Would be interested in more on the Farrar's.

Here is the site. Hope you can get there. If not I could download the file and send it to you as an attachment privately.

Ray,
I have a Fanny Shank Born 9/7/1814 married Jacob Snider born 11/16/1808.
Fannys parents were Michael Shank II born 6/13/1783 Penn. He married
Barbara Weideman born 1790. They were married in Markham, Ontario, Canada.
I know this isn't an exact match but I thought it was close enough to
write. Good luck Kurt

P.S To the person who said I didn't cap my own surname.. if you are

Typing surnames in capitals would be a benifit, since some could also
be a first name. My grandfathers surname was CHARLES, which could be
1st, 2nd, or last name.

George, I am sorry to say that I cannot find this person. According to my
main source on my Bowman family, there were more than 40 families with the
name Bowman or Bauman who entered the ports between 1700-1775. Apparently
this is of another line. I will keep my eyes open for you. Sorry I couldn't
help. Yvonne
The Rev. Sangrey is mentioned in Presbyterians in Pennsylvania by Guy Soulliard Klett, University of Pennsylvania Press, 1937, page 230. Here is the quote.
"According to information that was furnished (Rev.) I went through all the references to Funk in the Davis book. I didn't find
any matches. Sorry! There are two other volumes out there. The main
couple of families he listed were they families that were in Shenandoah Co.,
VA in 1750. Those names didn't match up either.

Good e-mail. Just a thought to all. We get so many postings and most of us
are already so busy. If we could, could we all caps on surnames and
subjects. That would help speed me along. Thanks.
My family records show that Thomas ELLIOT(T) m. Martha CROZIER in 1798. The
info indicates the marriage was performed by a Baptist minister named BOYLIN.
Has anyone seen the minister's name before? Would records of a marriage
this early exist?
Bill Boyle
Ellie, what a wonderful offer, that I will take you up on. I am looking for a

You are special. Thank you. Yvonne
