Pamela, I am looking for Andrew BAR son of Hans Michael and father of Daniel. Andrew was born in Lancaster County Pa in 1730. What I need to know is who was his wife and mother of my Daniel born in 1755 in Somerset County Pa. One person told me that there was an Andrew BAR that was a Captain in the Rev war and I would like to find out if he was the one that is Daniels father and have a source to give DAR on him as my second Patriot. Ray, I have a Fanny Shank Born 9/7/1814 married Jacob Snider born 11/16/1808. Fannys parents were Michael Shank II born 6/13/1783 Penn. He married Barbara Weideman born 1790. They were married in Markham, Ontario, Canada. I know this isn't an exact match but I thought it was close enough to write. George, I am sorry to say that I cannot find this person. According to my main source on my Bowman family, there were more than 40 families with the name Bowman or Bauman who entered the ports between 1700-1775. Apparently this is of another line. The Rev. Sangrey is mentioned in Presbyterians in Pennsylvania by Guy Soulliard Klett, University of Pennsylvania Press, 1937, page 230. Here is the quote. Linnea: I went through all the references to Funk in the Davis book. I didn't find any matches. Sorry! There are two other volumes out there. The main couple of families he listed were they families that were in Shenandoah Co., VA in 1750. Those names didn't match up either.
