Hello--
Is anyone on this list researching the above? I have just located on-line
the following from the 1880 Lawrence County census:
MORAN, Edward & Susan
MORAN, William J.
MORAN, William & Mary
I believe William & Mary to be the parents of my ggrandmother. Her obituary
in 1922 refers to surviving brothers, Edward Moran & William Moran of Wampum.
And, I know that my ggrandmother's parents' names were William Moran and
Mary Ryan.
I'd be happy to share any info about my ggrandmother, Mary Moran Ph
Hi all,
the Lawrence county page that Richard Harvey was hosting as a part of the
PAGenWeb Project has gone off-line. I have been unable to contact him so
I've created some temporary pages with some resources for you all to use.

Helen,
I have a Mary Etta Smith (my great grandmother) who was the daughter of
Charles Alexander Smith and Louise Kauffman, b. 6/16/1882. I believe
she had a sister, Jeannette, b. 1885.
This is an elusive line, since her daughter was the family historian for
many years and they couldn't track Mary's line. We believe the children
(Mary and Jeannette) were orphaned, and Mary saw her uncles in the 50's,
in the Rosepoint area but I haven't found many clues.
Anyone with information on Kauffmans in the Rosep
Dear Rooters,
I haven't contributed much I feel for the lenght of time I have belonged
to this list. So,,, I would
like to offer to do lookups on the following FHC film # 0317511 titled:
"Oldest Inscriptions with Revolutionary War and War of 1812 record of
the cemetaries of Trumbull, Mahoning, and Columbian counties of Ohio.
PA counties Lawrence, Mercer and Beaver." These are actual
readings from the gravestones done in early 1900's by Henry
N. Baldwin. My 1st day to do this will be Fri 12/1/2000
Just wondering if there still exists a Lawrence County list service.

Solomon RITZ born ca 1780-85; died before 4 Sep. 1820; married to Mary WISE
in 1808 in MD.
There were so many RITZ's in PA we suspect Solomon's father & mother were
either in PA. or had moved from PA. to MD. Or Solomon may have crossed the
state lines.
Anyone researching RITZ name that may have a connection to Solomon, my gr.
gr. gr. grandfather? Need Solomon's parents names or any information that
might be of some help.
Thank you.
