HI List Members: I may have mentioned that I have been looking for OLIVE
WEBB and her son,Alonzo, who would have been living with her in 1900. This
would have been about the time that the Husband,SAMUEL WEBB,woould have died.
Any member reviewing a Census for a County in Pa. may come across these
people. Any information that they may provide would be appreciated.
To my knowledge there is no Pa. Soundex for 1900.

This is what I wrote:
I understand that my G-Grandmothers grandfather ---SELIGMAN lived in
Hazelton and might have had a Hotel there at one time...he was from
Germany also...when he came to Hazelton I do not know...I do not even

Hello list,
I have found on the Luzerne Naturalization index (LDS film #1728657) the
names of some probable relatives. Would these records be held at the Luzerne
County Court House? Has anyone on the list written for these records? Is
there a charge? The index provided certificate, petition number, vol. # and
pg. #.
Thanks for any advice,
Jeanne
Hi List: I have sent a request to the Duryea Public Library requesting
information on the Marcy Cemetery. When did the cemetery start its
operation and if by chance they would have a map of the cemetery. I would
also like to know what other cemeteries belong to the Marcy Cemetery
Association and if these cemeteries fall under the Trustees of this
Township or Borough. Perhaps someone on the list can answer some of or
all of these questions.

In addition to the township / locale named Dorrance, there was a borough of
Dorranceton which in the late 1920's or early 1930's became part of
Kingston. This community was between Kingston and Forty-Fort.

I am still trying to gather information about the Case family in Jackson

My question: Where in Luzerne County would I find records such as land

to check with the Court House in Wilkes-Barre?
I would particularly like to get more records about the Case Cemetery in

that Adam was also a Smith family name.
The Smith's had the first taxi cab comp
