Charlotta: Sorry! Didn't mean to rush you. But I live in a zoo,
figuratively speaking, (I think). I wasn't sure if my kids misplaced
something or what! I suddenly got anxious that I was facing yet another set
back with our snail mail or kids. With all the work you've done, I hope you
will take a nice break. Thanks again!
Charlotta: Did you receive my two SASE and check inside? I haven't
received anything yet and I was just wondering if you were able to get it out
yet. Look forward to hearig from you. Langdon Hagen-Long

Greetings,
My cousins and I are searching for information about Montgomery County,
PA Shaners. Currently we are stuck on my gg-grandfather Jacob Shaner.
What information we have about him comes from records from my
gg-grandmothers family.
Jacob Shaner married Sarah Evans. Sarah M. Evans, b. 5/14/1811, was
the daughter of Samuel and Hannah Garrett Evans. She married Jacob
Shaner on 2/13/1834. Jacob apparently left Sarah before 1840 (Sarah
and her 5 yr. old son appear on a 1840 list of children in th
No, I didn't take offense. Having survived my own zoo, I can understand
completely. How many animals do you have?
I went to the regular library yesterday, and found some will info on
various Custer, Cassel and Hunsicker. Not the actual wills, but the dates
and numbers for you to write for copies of ancestors wills. I wasn't sure
if you would have access to the same resources there, since I was coping
Hoffman names I just included your surnames too. Hope they will be of some
benefit. The other thing I found

Hello, Montgomery Co. searchers,
I am tryinf to gather info on the Messerschmidt's (Theodore & Louisa
nee Konig) of Zieglersville(Gerloff Rd).
Theo was the town barber and his first shop was across the street from
the Zieglersville Hotel (south side- the little building was taken away
about 10 years ago). His second shop is now part of the current day
flower shop across from the Hotel on the northeast side (Rt.28).
Theo and Louisa (one of 15 children - one named Anna and one
Emma) purchased th

I apologize up front for those of you who are receiving more than one of
this message. There are so many who are send me information, at this
point over 2000, and are helping me that this is the only way I could
figure out how to thank each and every person and at the same time
contact other Loomis descendants.
The data base of the descendants of Joseph Loomis and Mary White is
growing rapidly as I receive new data daily. I want to send a special
thank you for those who re-sent their information after I
What a great idea! Thanks for the offer. Can you reply with your snail
address, please. I'll get a SA ready to go! I am interested in Custer and
Cassel, but I think you will also get to Long, Hunsicker, and Moser/s.
These are the ones I am most interested in. Thanks again! Maybe I'll
post what little I have from Mo Co records soon. Langdon Hagen-Long
Hi Rooters,
Hope your searches are going well.
One reminder to all, no attachments are allowed on these mailing lists.
When your sending photos they generally come through as attachments.
Please don't send these, they cause havoc on some systems. Thanks.

Well here we go again. I hate to type and am going to send along a few
copies of wills that were gleaned by someone else at the Fort Wayne, In.
Library. I have no further information on any of these people, nor any
information on other wills that may be in existance. Just thought they
might help someone else along in their research.

Here's todays list. I'm going to try and type the remainder of the index.
Remember the rules. Send me a SASE and what you think copy costs would
entail. The FHC charges twenty five cents per page. The names I checked
were only a couple of pages. My name and snail mail will be at the bottom
of this page.
In addition to the starred surnames that I am interrested in finding more
info, if anyone has info on the Singer family from Montgomery Co. I would
sure appreciate some help. Also there is an Ely in there i

Well, folks, thought I would send out a short note on joining the
RootsWeb group and helping support a very worthy cause.
RootsWeb is not a profit making operation. It is run by Karen

as more-or-less a hobby. When MAISER crashed, they accepted
the 1000+ Lists there WITHOUT requiring the Listowners to join
or contribute. (The normal way anyone gets a new List at RootsWeb
is by contributing $24 per year; that gets them 2 Lists.)

Anyone out there with information on the town of Conshohocken in Montgomery
County? I believe it is now part of Philedelphia so would be circa 1860's I
would be interested in.
