I meant to say there may be more Mooretowns, but the Ontario one is the only
one that comes up linked with Blandford & Schlagel. I didn't get any more
Mohrtowns at all.

Does anyone know if Fountain Hill was ever an entity in itself, or was it always a part of Bethlehem? Some of my relatives are listing their place of birth as Fountain Hill. They were usually born in St. Luke's Hospital. If it was separate at one time, when did it become a part of Bethlehem?
Thanks for any help you can give me. Barbara Redline

readily available? Or are they in the courthouse? or archives somewhere?
And while I'm asking - generally what is avaliable for prior to the 1750s.
[FYI - I do have a copy of the Moravian Missionaries Dansbury Diaries book].
The folks I am researching were already present in the region in the early
1740s church records. I assume they scattered during

Are these records published--Moravian Congregation at Schoeneck? I know
they appear in John T. Humphrey's book "Pennsylvania Births Northampton

birth dates are recorded.

what I'm looking for--on 10 June 1792, seven children were baptized, Johann

I checked the US gov't map database at

I used the wildcard, the percent sign, for MOHR%, query variant name, YES,
County, NORTHAMPTON. Got no results. Tried MOOR% and got Moorestown, variant
name MOORSBURG. I think MOHRTOWN could be another way refer to Moore
Township, especially if the person was a census taker or not familiar with
the area.
I also checked MOHR% statewide, in case this place is in a county which
"spun off" from Northampton. G
