send it, so here it goes again! :)
I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to my recent "Birth / Death /
Marriage records" posting. The genealogical community in general, and this
mail list specifically, contain many wonderful, helpful people!

I am tracing the descendants of John Nicholas Snyder (Schneider) and Anna Maria Bordner. John Nicholas, whose father came from Germany, was born in Berks Co in 1749 and moved to the Himmel's Church area where he is buried. My lifelong goal is to prove he has over 100,000 descendants. "The Father of a Small Nation" If you descend, please email me!!

Hi,
Look for info. on CASSEL family.
I have an old cedar chest with writing on the inside of lid that reads,
"This chest and all its contents belong to Mary K. Cassel & Hannah K. Cassel
1884".
This chest was given to my mother after her sister died in 1980, I got it in
1990 from my mothers house after she died.
Am trying to see if this family is related to my family line.

You guys have all been so helpful to so many requests I'm wondering if
anyone can give me a clue on my problem. I'm trying to run down an

name, but that and what I have just told you is all I have. Is there any
way I can get information on this individual as to where he lived when he
entered the army and maybe where he went after leaving the army? So far I
