Robert, You may hear from the Mt. Carmel Library eventually. I e-mailed them about mid-July of this year and heard nothing until I received a photocopy response just this week. They charge $15.00 for lookups and $.25 per page copied and are trusting me to pay up. I don't know what their usual policy is, but I'm about 800 miles away. Yes, The LDS church will microfilm this for you, I am quite sure. I attended a Family History Seminar on October 14 at our local Family History Library and it was mentioned in one of my classes that the church will also microfilm vlauable original records for you such as birth, death, baptismal records etc. I have a friend who has many of these original documents from Germany and she is going to have the church microfilm them for her.
