Paul's message reminded me that there is a REITZ-L discussion list
available through Rootsweb. So far it has been a very inactive list--seven
messages in the last year. But three of them were posted this month, so
things may be picking up, and an infusion of Northumberland County Reitz
researchers might give the list new life!
Subscription procedures are the usual ones for Rootsweb lists. Full

Robert,
You may hear from the Mt. Carmel Library eventually.
I e-mailed them about mid-July of this year and heard nothing until I received a
photocopy response just this week. They charge $15.00 for lookups and $.25 per
page copied and are trusting me to pay up. I don't know what their usual policy
is, but I'm about 800 miles away. Of course, donations are always welcome, too!
I was very happy to receive my requested information.

Yes, The LDS church will microfilm this for you, I am quite sure. I attended
a Family History Seminar on October 14 at our local Family History Library
and it was mentioned in one of my classes that the church will also
microfilm vlauable original records for you such as birth, death, baptismal
records etc. I have a friend who has many of these original documents from
Germany and she is going to have the church microfilm them for her.

Ps. I have joined the list in hopes of finding info

I know this is a second listing, BUT, I accidently deleted my Juno
account and had to apply for a new one. In getting a new account I had to
select a new address. I sent out a request for any one knowing about the
SWARM surname to get in touch. If you responded under my old address it
went into a big black hole and I never got it.
Please respond again using this address.
Thanks
