This is a re-posting. Does anybody have information regarding Michael
and Margaret (Hinds) Cassidy and their only son, Christopher, living in
the Shohola area? They moved to Shohola area from Kingston, NY,
sometime after 1880, where Michael's and Christopher's occupations were
listed as "quarryman" on a census for Kingston.
They may have worked in the quarry of Valentine Engelhart when
Christopher met and later married Mary Elizabeth Engelhart. They had
four children in Shohola, then returned to King
Hi - I'm looking for anything on the families of Christian Hehn or his brother Peter Hehn and their families. I know they were in these areas:
Lackawaxen and Shohola, PA area about the 1850's - 1870's
Port Jervis, Middletown, and Montgomery, NY about 1870s - 1880's.
(These 2 immigrated from Wurtemberg about 1850's and so are not immediate kin (that I know of) of the Hehns from Skulykill (sp?) or Berks counties in PA that have been here since 1700's.)
Am very stuck - THANKS!!!
