I do not know that this Wheeler family name is connected with the line I am
searching for. Do you have info showing any connection?

Charlene,
Hi. In your search in Susquehanna County have you, by chance, come
across
any Wheeler families? I have Wheeler family in that county and area and
have
been unable to find all of them.

I just posted the Marriage Records for Hart, Holmes and Harty on my web site
today. My person is green! My line ended up in NJ and PA. Trying to tie
the lines together. These records are from the Aghada Parish in County
Cork. I moved the Records under "Irish Records". Still have the Holmes
births to do.

Don't think that my Walker's were in Susquehanna Co. PA., like several of my
other lines -- but, if anyone is related to any Walker's from Dansville,
Stueben Co., NY -- I would be interested in talking to you.

The Patriarch of my Wheelers is John Wheeler and his wife was Lena Wheeler,
they were first cousins. They had several children, no Thomas though..but my

The book was published in 1900 called Commemorative Biographical
Record of Northeastern
Pennsylvania including the counties of Susquehanna, Wayne, Pike and
Monroe. Most of the bio's are
from Susquehanna and Wayne counties. A MUST have for genealogists in
that area. I don't think there
is a reprint. Mine is falling apart. If you know someone in that
area; maybe an auction or even the
Susq. Co Historical Society might come across one. Expect to pay at
least $100. My cousin bought one

No I don't live in Susq. Co..my roots are there and plenty of
relatives..my Aunt Loena Wheeler married
my Uncle Victor Welch (my Mother's brother). She grew up in Dundaff
and is the daughter of Harry and
Josephine Checheurka Wheeler (they married in 1929) Is this some of
your line?

Check out the Plains Township Cemetary in Luzerne County. I have a copy of
a bio of Sarah Kennedy Goodwin which states her father (John A.) is buried
there. It might be a family plot or ground. John A married a Nancy
Armstrong.

Dear Santa,
I've sat and I've contemplated.... thought real hard too...
and I think I am sure, yes quite certain, what it is I would
like this year, from you. Dear Santa, I would like, very much,
to know more than I do about my great great grandparents,
William E. THORN and Lydia A. CLARK.
William THORN was born in Reading PA, I believe, on 12 June 1833.
He married Lydia A. CLARK in Lenox, Susquehanna Co., I have
been told, in March of 1854. Lydia was born on 29 July 1833
to John CLARK and Mary Ann ROY
