Winkle I can find is Harry Van Winkle. In 1900 he married Flora Grace

do not have a birth or death date for Harry or his parent information. I was
at the Kirkwood Cemetary this past summer when I went home for the Family
Reunion there were several Van Winkle's buried there. My mother also told
me there was (or maybe still is) a huge Van Winkle Farm near Elm

Hello all
I have taken some time to find the census records for a few townships in
the northeastern Pennsylvania area that contain a number of my cousins.
As a result I have added Nicholson Township, Wyoming county to the
townships that have the 1850 census data published on the website
(listed below). There is quite a commingling of families from Susquehanna
County as shown by the SQUIRES/SQUARES and PICKERING surnames. The
latter being one of my lines.
Where I have the data, the census entries are lin

From Emily Blackman's History of Susquehanna County.:
In 1812, Levi Phelps cleared the farm now occupied by Reuben Squiers, near
the junction of the outlet of Tarbell's Pond with Horton's Creek.
William Squiers (father of Mrs. Dr. Wright) came from Westfield, Vermont, in
the fall of 1816 to the farm now occupied by A. Sterling, near the north line
of Lathrop (then Waterford), on the first road east of Horton's Creek.
About 1826, he went to the frarm cleared by Phelps, where he died

Hello all,
I'm a new list member researching my probable Phelps line, which I recently
discovered. I am looking for evidence or clues concerning:
1) Marriage of Griswold Phelps, son of Levi, to Rhoda Squires, dau. of
Stephen
2) Daughter Angeline Phelps, born 1810-1816 to Griswold and Rhoda (Squires)
Phelps
3) Marriage of Angeline Phelps, abt. 1830-34, to a Mr. Kettle, and/or at any
time after abt. 1830, to a W.M. Lull.
Were there Kettles/Kittles and Lulls in Susquehanna Co. abt 1800-1830? And
I've "rescued" an old photograph taken at the J.B. Fenner Studio on East
Main Street in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania on 7 March 1889. The group appears
to be a family photograph including one male and 5 females. One female does
appear to be older maybe the mother or an older sibling, however, the male
doesn't appear to be a spouse.
The 5 women do resemble each other so I'm pretty sure there is a familial
connection of some sort. Maybe it is a photograph of a Mother and 5
children? Maybe the FLETCHER's are

This week I have been in email contact with a new cuzzin n law/cuzzin.
He is descended from William Bosket. Since my sister n law is also descended
from this line I am in the process of putting information up on my site.

So if any Boskets out there have any questions, feel free to ask. Mary Jean
