It looks possible that a bulk spam e-mailer has just sent out a copy of
a virus having forged our earthlink address as the sender.
Just be on your toes folks, even though most of these lists will strip
or kill an enclosed virus.

Seeking family of Otis MADISON b c 1800 d 1828 Dundaff, Susquehanna Co.. He
married Cornelia Snyder and they had 3 children:

Mary m Martin HOUGHTALING
Matilda m ? Elisha Dabell WIGHTMAN
Otis died in the summer of 1828 according to Cornelia in a statement for
1812 Pension (for Stephen Masters - her 2nd husband) given in August 1878.
Altho there are many Snyder families in the area, cannot link Cornelia to
any of them.

Ransford Smith (4 May 1767 Ponfret, Windham, Ct. - )
s/o Benjamin Smith & Abigail Sprague Benjamin 1 of 12 children
Ransford and Chloe (Drown) Smith were among the first 14 members of the Congregational
Church of Mt. Pleasant, Susquehannah, Pa. in 1814. Two other members were their daughter
Could someone help me with a church, birth or other lookup for the above
person or surname. My dilemma is that supposedly he was born in PA but I have no
idea where. Other Brigance members were supposedly born around 1740 in PA as
well. At that time, there were only 4 counties: Lancaster, Chester, Philadelphia
and Bucks. I have searched in Philadelphia and Lancaster but I wonder when
the counties split if the information went with another county outside of the
Philadelphia area.
