My oldest PATTERSON ancestor, Thomas, (b 1779, Tyrone, IRL, d 1869, ON, CAN)
apparently emigrated to Canada with his wife, Nancy Ann Smith (b 1782/1787,
Tyrone, IRL, d 1862, ON, CAN), and at least four of their children:
Aaron (b 1802),
William (b 1812),
Mary (b 1813),
Thomas (b Jul, 1815)
They settled in Mono Township, Dufferin County, Ontario, Canada. Mary
was married in 1837 there, so I presume they emigrated between 1815
when Thomas was born and 1837, although I have found no record of
any births i

I am looking for information on the parents of John Wesley Patterson,
born July 22, 1848, in Lee county, Iowa. I believe that his parents
names were Joseph and Hannah Barker Patterson and that they were
married on October 9, 1845, in Lee county, but I don't know where or
when they born nor who their parents were.
Thanks for any help,
Richard
I am working on my Patterson listing. I know that some of those on the list
are in their 70's, 80's and 90's, should I list them?
By not listing them, some of the migration West from OH will not be indicated.
I am in the process of trying to delete all those in the listing under 70.
What do you think?
Sincerely,
