1. [WASH] RUSSELLs and FITZGERALDs? [1]
I am newly in touch with a fellow who has RUSSELLs in Washington County area... Now I have FITZGERALDs that don't really seem to connect to Western PA FITZGERALDs, and yet it possibly is the case if one goes back far enough. Hence, the marriage in Philadelphia of John FITZGERALD & Henrietta RUSSELL in 1741 becomes a possible Washington County (or other nearby county) situation. Does any PAWASHIN lister have such names? Or databases in which you would be willing to check for these names? Thanks, Vin
2. [WASH] thanks-Jane Wyman/Futterman [1]
Thanks to all who passed on info or a way to access info on Jane Wyman. It seems she was from Missouri & there is no direct connection to the Tarr family, but the picture may be from a visit with Myron Futterman's family before they divorced. I'll have to research his name & see if I come up with a Tarr relationship. Good hunting to all, Sandra Crowe Harris

Maybe like me, throwing those baseballs for a prize isn't their strong suit?? ;) I have several 20 dollar animals....!! 4. [WASH] Families that left PA to OH [1]
My descendants, Richard & Mary Elizabeth Templeton Parkinson left Washington County sometime after 1840 and prior to 1850 for Muskingum County, OH as they show up in their respective censuses in each county. They apparently lived in N Strabane Twp prior to leaving PA. We have been searching for their parents. Any help on either would be most helpful. Rick Parkinson

A friend of mine has compiled a very long list of all the Canonsburg High School graduates from 1889 - 1959. I forwarded the list to Georgeann to be published to the website. 8. [WASH] PA research materials available in the Tampa Bay Fl area for free on site use [1]
Sorry For Cross Posting. Feel free to pass along this message. I have received so many helpful responses from other researchers on the various Pa lists, that I want to help also. I used to make my research materials collection available for on site use at our family bookstore. I had some wonderful researchers come in and make use of the collection. And I enjoyed talking with all of them. Since we moved the bookstore to Brandon Fl., the new location does not have sufficient space for me to make my r

12. [WASH] ROBSON in Monongahela/Pittsburgh areas [1]
A recent contribution of articles or notices in the Monongahela Valley Republican caught my eye. I believe the Johnson ROBSON mentioned below is a brother to my ancestor George ROBSON. Is there anyone on the list who knows more about this person or any other ROBSON in the Monongahela area? I'd love to hear from them and add to my knowledge, and am willing to share back any information that I might have. Thanks. Forty Years Ago September 18, 1897 McDonald is taking its place as the banner chicken town of this section. J. J. CHARLIER's Silver-Comb Black Minorcas have taken the first and one second prize at the Wheeling fair. Mrs. John CASE died September 13 in her home in Fannie street. William FORINGER is erecting a cottage for himself on the old U. P. church property. At the David RAAB sale sheep sold for $4; corn sold for $.15 a bushel in the field; and cows sold from $33 to $48. 16. [WASH] off the subject [1]
One more tid bit, to the list of telemarketers. Read the new law. You can sign up for it but it excludes any company that you have bought from or have a credit card from and their affiliates. You have to go directly to them and say no more calls, and it does not work. In CA., they outlawed computer generated calls but that did not stop them. I still got them, up to the day I moved from CA. I got a call two weeks ago on a Sunday, from a company that is part of an American bank, I have a charge card with. I
17. Re: [WASH] Masonic information please. [1]
You will need to write to the Grand Secretary of the Grand Lodge in the state where your ancestor lived. You'll find him very helpful, I'm sure. You might mention your grandfather's name, AND LODGE NUMBER, if you know it. Files are usually by lodge number. If you don't know the number, mention the place. The Grand Secretary will know the number of lodges he was likely to have attended. Here's another option. Every Grand Lodge publishes, every year, a book titled something like "Proceedings of the Gra

20. Re: [WASH] off subject but important [1]
What would our Revolutionary War ancestors think about a centralized government stifling the free economic market of telemarketing, a legal service? Of course, states and cities now limit the use of other legal products such as cigarettes and the right to bear arms. I wish I could talk to my relatives that helped to establish the Constitution and the Bill of Rights about what is happening to this country. Bill/TX/Remember the Alamo

My family group (mostly Galbraiths) were in Washington Co about 1828 - 1840 or so, and then moved to Carroll and Harrison Co, Ohio. They moved with a whole group of freinds and extended family members. I've been researching some of the other names, only because it seems as though they all eventually married into each others' families. In addition to Galbraiths, I'm looking for Coles, Hardsocks, Tedrows, Busbys, Hooblers, Copelands, Abels............ and others So, if your Washington Co ances
