And I have O-R obits from 05-15-2003 to the present. I'm currently indexing them but progress is slow with over 2,000 entries in the six and 1/2 months I have completed. That's not 2,000 separate deaths, by the way, as some people show up 3 times (death notice, obituary and correction).
If anyone needs a lookup, please drop me an email.

Could you please ask if there are any WHITE, MCCREARY, NEAL/NEEL, PATTERSON,
LESLIE, LITTLE burials in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery? These would most
likely be from the early to mid 1800's.
My ancestor, Nathaniel White, is said to have lived in the Mt. Pleasant area
of Washington Co. prior to moving to the Mount Jackson area of Beaver, later
Lawrence, Co., PA.
Thank you

Dear List Members,
Does anyone on the list know if there are any cemeteries at/near Stockdale?
Also, is there anyone (a kind soul) on the list able to search some old newspapers for me? I'm assuming they are on microfiche at the library. I live in Las Vegas so it's physically impossible for me to get to the library myself.
I'm trying to find if there's any info on the death of my ggg grandfather, Hiram Simpson. He would have died somewhere between 1880 and 1898.
He was listed in the 1880 census as

FYI:
In order to research Liverpool departure lists you would pretty have to
go to the Public Records Office in Kew, England or know someone who
could go for you. The Liverpool lists are not indexed and they have not
been microfilmed. So you would also need to know the date of departure
and name of ship.

This search engine is helpful for "local" (local being anywhere actually)
searches. Just specify a state, or city/state, or even a street address.
Definitely worth a try if you live out-of-state or are not familiar with a town
where you are doing genealogy searching!
I thought it would give MANY more though for Washington, PA... maybe I
needed to adjust the Keywords I used?
Examples I tried:
