1. Vance History [1]
Diane, I am not searching the Vance name, but am always interested in the early part of Washington Co. Your piece of info is a great addition to what should be kept on hand, simply because it goes back so early & is from a timely source. Thank you! I am adding it to my files. Ellen Ballas (ETHS)

Jan! I can't remember! Is there an every name index in the back of the book for maps? How about anything on residents in the front of it? I'll be looking forward to checking out your site. Thanks for the help. Ellen (ETHS)

6. Horn Papers [1]
The maps for the Horn Papers are excellent for all 3 counties (Washington, Fayette & Greene). They are in Vol. III. - As to Vol. I & Vol. II the basic dispute is in regard to the "French Lead Plates" & not need for us to get involved with that. As to the Horn Lineage - I have traced the line back to Christopher & on to Jacob years ago. No problem there! Some of the other lineage has been questioned for errors, & while that may be the case in some, I have also ultimately found truth in others. Therefo

9. Morganza [1]
Hi! Morganza is indeed a disciplinary home. Or I should have said was. The property sits a little out of the end of Canonsburg. This would be the end going toward Allegheny County & not going towards Hickory. Maybe someone else would like to get a little more involved with the explanation. Ellen (ETHS)
