to contact them and my request was returned with a note that they were
unknown.

available. Other counties have cemetary records, newspaper articles, census,
and alphabetical lists of peopel who lived in the county. This material would
be so helpful to those of us who have subscribed and are searching for years
and seem to come up with nothing. I am even

I'm hoping to get some information about a John BEALE in the Scranton,
PA area around 1895 to 1903. John immigrated from England, through New
York.
After leaving Scranton, John moved to Wehrum, PA; where he worked at the
Lackawanna Coal & Coke Company as a miner... Possibly, he worked for the
Lackawanna Iron & Steel Company in Scranton as a miner or steelworker.
Any information will be gratefully appreciated...
Thanks...

I am seeking information on Samuel J. Hess and his parents. He was born
in Feb 1865 in Phila. and later married Carrie Herdman. They settled in
Kunkle and had a son, Leroy, on June 7, 1893. I believe sisters included
Jennie L. and Maggie R., born in early 1870's. I believe his parents
were Samuel R. Hess (born 1841 in Pa) and Muralla (born 1846 in Pa).
