David, I joined this list a long time ago...I am not related to any PEABODYs, however,my grandfather was an officer in the PEABODY Coal Mines in the 30's in Chicago, Illinois. My father(deceased)worked in the Chicago office and then in the office of one of the coal mines in central Illinois in the 30's and 40's. I am looking for any of the relatives of the owner's family.
