Nancy Wood was the mother of Nancy Ann Wall who married Minatree Pennington

While surfing I found a great library resource containing the
genealogical files of a professional Genealogist called Leonardo
Andrea. They contain info. on early South Carolina Penningtons,

imagine the PRA has checked these out?

Hi Mirya.
I have an Ada Pennington. However, she was born and died about 50 years
prior to your dates. I have seen or heard somewhere (I cannot remember
where) something about one or some of her brothers relocating to Cincinnati.
Sorry I cannot be of more help right now but I will look and see if I can
come up with something else for you. If you can make a connection, I have
some more info for you. And then maybe we can "tag-team" these Penningtons.
My Ada's father is being a bit pesky to me also. Goo

I don't know where Reichert, Ok. is located, but I do have two uncles
that left Monroe Co., Ky. in the early 1900's and settled in Kingfisher,
Ok., but have been unable to find any trace of them in that area. Their
names wwere William Harrison Pennington and LeRoy P. Pennington. Will.H.
was born Monroe co.,Ky 1864 and Leroy P. was born 1873.
I suppose there is a remote possibility that they may have been in the
Reichert area.
Any help is most appreciated, Thanks, ton Pennington

I just received my January29, 2001 copy U.S NEWS AND WORLD REPORT it has an
excellent article titled "Where We Came From". This article should give your
project a shot in the arm as they tell about the latest findings in using DNA
and Y chromosome to trace family members.
If you do not subscribe to this magazine recommend that you buy a copy.

I don't believe you can send attachments to the list. But you can start a
webpage - which is really easy now - and add the link to the webpage. Write
me if you need some help getting started.

I also have an Ada Pennington with brothers who moved to Ohio. The brothers,
Arthur Edward Pennington and Thomas Grey Pennington both worked for the
railroad. Ada Pennington in my line does not match the dates; she was born
1881 and died 1941 and married Samuel Hatcher. As far as I know, she did not
leave WV, though. This line of Pennington's is out of Mercer Co., WV.
