Sandy, do you mean Maine or Nebraska?
If you don't get any replies on your query, send me an e=mail. I go
to Omaha (mostly on a weekend) about 2-3 times a year, and if no
one helps you, perhaps I can come spring or nearly thereto. (I'm re-
ferring to Omaha, Nebr., of course...) Ruth

Hi Kristie,
Thanks for all your work on the site. You have William R. Pennington
listed as being married to Nancy Mogan Oct 14, 1879. Nancy's last name was
actually "Morgan".
Also, William's first marriage was to Nancy Caudill on June 30, 1859 in
Perry (now Leslie) County. William was my gggrandfather.
Thanks again for all your work!

I am researching the children of Rev. Charles Pennington and wife Cassandra
(GROUP V). Only two of their children are known for certain. I believe that
there possibly is an additional son, Charles Jr. Does anyone have a stray
Charles who could range from about 15 to 25 years old (give or take a
little) as his family traveled from Bucks Co. PA to Rowan County NC 1785, to
Grayson County VA in 1790, then to Russell County VA in 1807 for five years,
then moving to White County TN. I think that he would most l
Hi Kristie,
You have down R. S. Pennington and Caroline Sartain's marriage as Aug 22,
1855. Its actually Aug 22, 1885. R. S. is Richard Pennington and he is the
brother to my GrGr Grandmother, Martha E. Pennington. Keep up the hard work,
love your site.

I am seeking information about Ella May PENNINGTON, b. July 1861 in New York state. She married Chapin Southwood FLEET about 1884 and died sometime after 1931. According to the 1900 census, her father was born in New Jersey and her mother in New York.
Chapin FLEET was a prosperous broker, born in Virginia. They lived in Kings County, NY (Bayridge, Brooklyn) as well as Jackson Heights (Queens) during their marriage. The family attended Elmhurst Baptist Church in Elmhurst, Queens, NY at least during the lat

Hi All,
I have finally finished putting the Kentucky Pennington marriages on my site
I have added 135 new marriages tonight.
To see the new Pennington names go to

To see if your family is there do a search/find using your web browser.
If you find any errors let me know. I have typed so much this evening I am
sure I mistyped something. So please use this only as a guide. If the record
was recorded on microfilm then there should be some type of bond or
certificate in the coun
