HI All,
Does this list also include Perdew? I've found my Mary Perdue listed both
ways.
She is the daughter of William Perdew and Rachel Lowe.
She married Thomas Dicken in either MD or PA, again have seen both.
would like to correspond with anyone from this family!
Julie

In the 1850 Zach and Sarah 36 have Mary 17 and John W 1 living with them,
this might make him son of Sarah, esp if they got together about that time

But I think this is wm 1704, not wm 1735...
Sandra and Linda,
Zachariah applied for pension in Tazewell County on 18th March 1871 - gave
his age as 100 years and his wife as Sarah A. Wolf. Linda - I had not seen
the marriage in Tazewell Co., VA. - wonder if they married to make pension
application legal?
Zachariah is listed with "wife" Sarah in 1850 census - Zachariah Perdue and
Sarah Wolf were indicated by grand Jury in Mercer County in March of 1850 -
don't know the grounds??? In the 1860 census Elizabeth is listed as "wife" -
age 40 year
Saw the info regarding Zachariah. I have a little info to add. This info
came from a FGS I have - I have not verified.
Zachariah & Sarah Ann Wolf were married 3/14/1871 in Tazewell Co., Va. and
he died later that year (I don't know the date) in Mercer Co. WVA.

Have made these corrections, where did Zach live 1870-1880, found him in the
1850 Mercer age 70, with Sarah 36, Mary 17 and John W 1, who are they?

Sandra and Linda,
The following is what I have put together for the order of births for the
children of Meshack Perdue - I have based this info on censuses, marriages,
pension application, etc.....example: according to the date of birth given in
the one and only census I find Elizabeth Perdue Ward she would have been a
child when she married. ...in her case I just decided that she must have been
at least sixteen years old and that is how her date of birth came about.....
1...Meshack Perdue 1750 - 1838

Hi I am trying to locate my Perdue/Perdew Roots. My Father
was William Earl Perdue born in 1922 to Earl Perdew and Gertrude
"Sadie" Sansom. Earl was born in January 1902 to Floyd Perdew and
Lenore Egnor. From here it is a gray area. I think that his parents
were William A. Perdue and Samantha Halstead but I am not sure. I
think that William A's Parents are Patterson Perdue and Editha White.
Most everyone I could ask is either deceased or too old to remember
as far as I know they are all from either L

does anybody have any irish links? i have a Mariah Perdue, [also
shown as Maria and Mary in one record book], married to daniel
murphy. they lived in Comber, Co Down, in ireland between 1867 -
1872. they had children catherine1868, alice 1872, anne 1870, and
john 1867.
as Perdue is not a very "irish" name i am trying to make links, and
realise emigration is a likely possibility. for the record, there are
only 8 Perdue entries in the listed telephone directories for the
whole of ireland now.

can send several different types of charts as well as a quick and easy
outline via email, [without the need for attachments, which are the bane of
the Internet].
The outline is by far the easiest, all you to is click on outline, clic
