My husband descends from a group of Perdue's and Ward's that intermarried.
I have a large Ward book and looked up both names and found neither. This
isn't saying Letha Ward didn't descend from this group of Ward's. Is she
does, we haven't found her. Our Ward's and Perdue's came from Franklin
County, VA to Wayne County, WV, sometime before the Civil War.
