Am I reading this correctly in the Northern Kentucky Marriages index on Ancestry.com? Abram S. Piatt (b 1821) to Hanna Ann Piatt (b. c1824), November 10, 1840. Is Hanna Ann the daughter of Abram S. Piatt, born 1801 in Kentucky?
The links below, recently posted to rootsweb, give the roster of militia in 1793 in Middlesex Co NJ. This roster is used as a substitute census since early NJ census were lost. John Pyatt and his neighbors, Mannings, Drakes, Dunhams, Steeles (Stelles), etc. are on page 7.

Regarding EBENEZER PIATT
We know Ebenezer was in Henry and Loudoun counties of VA until he went to IL
ca1814.
There would seem to be a connection to John and wife Hanah Piatt that
settled in Grainger Co., TN by 1813. John was born ca1782 and Hanah ca1788 both in
VA. It was descendants of John and Hanah that eventually went to Texas.
Research on John and Hanah could prove some answers.

Got back over the last weekend from my winter stay in Florida and will
gradually be going over the emails I saved while there.
Regarding the emails of 12/27-12/28/04 and 1/4/2005 on John PYATT of
Waccamaw, SC.
My early research does have John PYATT died 1767, married 3/28/1744 to
Hannah LABRUCE. Their son John PYATT JR.. married 12/29/1780 to Elisabeth
LaBruce, a sister to Thomas LaBruce. Mary Pyatt, dau. of John Jr. and Elisabeth
married 2/4/1800 Dr. William ALLSTON, born 1772, died 2/16/1848 t
Me again....
Looking for the maiden name of Mary Pyatt who was married to Richard Pyatt.
They were likely married in Mason/Jackson/Wood Counties in WV or
Gallia/Meigs Counties in Ohio.
Richard was the son of William and Lucinda Snyder Pyatt.
Richard and his wife and kids are listed in Mason County WV Census for 1900.
Richard was born c1869 and Mary was born c 1862
Other surnames possibly associated with Mary are Riffle, Robinson and Snyder
Any clues?
Thanks,
Robin

Hi cousins--
Working on weeding out some old handwritten notes and ran across a list of
victims of the 5 November 1930 Mine collapse in Millfield, OH. This was at
the Sunday Creek Coal Mine #6
Listed among the dead are Thomas Peyatt and William Peyatt.
Can anyone tell me who these guys are and where in Ohio Millfield is?
Thanks,
Robin

Many thanks (as always!) to Laverne for continued great information. Got
them into the database this morning.
Can you finger this guy?
John Paut, Frederick County Maryland. Found as a signer of the Oath of
Allegiance and Fidelity to Maryland during the Revolution.
Thanks!
Robin
