I want to make sure that the results are identified by earliest ancestor only and will not pick up the name of the living participants for privacy reasons. The Piatt Surname Study DNA results will be posted on a website hosted at Family Tree DNA soon, I hope. However, it is a work in progress and not quite ready for prime time. In the meantime I'd like to share some of the DNA results with the list: Twelve participants match each other 25/25. This match means that these 12 individuals share a common ancestor within the past several generations. Because of other research we believe the ancestor to be Rene Piatt of New Jersey.
