Hi Dave, To my knowledge, and I have worked on this family since 1962, there is NO proof to James being the father of Ebenezer Pyatt. As far as I know, the parentage of Ebenezer Pyatt is still unknown. Dick Piatt, PA.

If he had no wife or children, as it appears, wouldn't he have had some relative who would receive his estate? Or, would the 'state' have taken it as unclaimed? I would think that the Reagons were close relatives. Perhaps Ann was William's sister. I don't know any other way to explain such a disparity in the purchase price. I just got a set of the Piatt Family newsletter and as reading, I found a in volume 2 no.2 pg. 21 two family line showing: Rene Piatt ...James Piatt + Elizabeth .....James Piatt ........Ebenezer Piatt + Rebecca Milburn ...........etc. I was able to find more information on an Ebenezer but at this time I havn't found a link to any James. Is there a link? Please open that old file you may have and see if anyone can make or disprove this link. Thank you David C Piatt Shelby Twp., Mich.

my gandfather was a john piatt and his father jacob piatt and his father a john piatt i have more info a my home computer if interested phyllis from piqua ohio near darke co ohio where most of these last two piatts were from and buried my grandmother was dora piatt harrison her dad john and then jakob and then john again she was born 1865 so her dad was at least 1845 and i think way before so we are talking early 1800s and late 1700s on these 4 generation . write if interested my mo
