Hi Dave,
To my knowledge, and I have worked on this family since 1962, there is NO
proof to James being the father of Ebenezer Pyatt. As far as I know, the
parentage of Ebenezer Pyatt is still unknown.
Dick Piatt, PA.
If he had no wife or children, as it appears, wouldn't he have had some
relative who would receive his estate? Or, would the 'state' have taken it
as unclaimed? I would think that the Reagons were close relatives. Perhaps
Ann was William's sister. I don't know any other way to explain such a
disparity in the purchase price. Marianne

I just got a set of the Piatt Family newsletter and as reading, I found a in volume 2 no.2 pg. 21 two family line showing:
Rene Piatt
...James Piatt + Elizabeth
.....James Piatt
........Ebenezer Piatt + Rebecca Milburn
...........etc.
I was able to find more information on an Ebenezer but at this time I havn't found a link to any James. Is there a link?
Please open that old file you may have and see if anyone can make or disprove this link.
Thank you
