New Piatt DNA results have been posted to the Piatt public page at:
http://www.familytreedna.com/public/Piatt
Member #31325, who is now listed first on the spreadsheet of results, is from the Monroe Co OH line of Piatts who moved to Idaho in the later 1800s. And he matches our other participant (#6529) from the Monroe Co OH line 25/25. I figure these two participants to be fourth cousins.
For those who like to study the DNA numbers I invite your critique of my conclusions drawn from these new results.
The Piatt Researchers Conference for 2006 will take place June 18-24 at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown PA, in beautiful and historic Bucks Co. Regular attendees will remember that we have been there twice before and found it to be a site well placed for researching the state archives of New Jersey in Trenton and several important genealogical repositories in Philadelphia.
I have requested that we check in beginning at 2 pm on Sunday June 18 and that we have until noon on Saturday June 24 to check o
Robin,
As you know I am wintering in Florida but will check my records when I get
home to see if I have anything for you.
This is also a TEST for the list page as I have been having trouble NOT
getting email sent to the list. Lets see if the problem has been eliminated!
Dick Piatt, PA.
Hi Laverne,
As far as I know right now, Edith and I plan to be there, and we're
looking forward to it. I really wish we'd made it to Salt Lake City, but
it's too late to think about that now.
Jim

The Benjamin F Piatt should be the son of Andrew Jackson Piatt and Margaret Winters of Jo Piatt Lauer's line. Thanks for posting this marriage to the list.

OK Im confused--or more correctly, Ive got a circle in the database.
I show both Rev Jonathan Martin and his son Jacob married to Elizabeth
Dunham. I also show Rev. Jonathan as having married Dinah Piatt and Martha
Runion. Can anyone untangle this for me?
Thanks,
Robin

Hi Listers--
After a VERY VERY long time the database at www.piattresearchers.net has
been updated. For those of you new to this resource please remember that
the database is user submitted--I do not have notes or information on the
people in the database. Also, If you don't find your line or you have
additions and corrections PLEASE send them to me at info@piattresearchers
net or robin@triedit.net
Also I have added tombstone photos of the grave of Thomas and Alcinda Piatt
of Jackson County, WV, sent
While browsing Genealogies of New Jersey Families Vol One I happened upon
these folks:
Sarah Osborn, b 1696 married James Peatt b 27 Mar 1691, probably the son of
Bejamin and Prescilla Peatt. Marriage took place in Stratford, CT 14 Nov
1716
Anybody have information on this family?
Robin

I thought about that actually (I knew the Peet issue in CT) but trusted the
source material--seems we're not the first to confuse the families! *laugh*
Makes sense though because I couldnt find a Prescilla wife anywhere....
Thanks Laverne!
