Hello all!
I sent an email a week or two ago and never saw it show up on my inbox.
It could have possibly been deleted by my husband before I saw it - but, not
likely. So, I am going to assume that you guys didn't see it either and post
it again.
I received some information from a Hildebrand researcher in Illinois
whose Hildebrand relative married into my Piatt line very early (before
1826) in Jefferson Co, MO. He says in a letter "The HOUSE (HAUS/HAUSS)
family seems to have come from the Lancaster
Okay,
This is the longest email I've ever sent and I hope to see results! This
stems from a new 'index' page that I am adding to my website
http://www.angelfire.com/ar/pyeatt/index.html . I still need to refine the
descriptions with other spouses and locations where available - but, didn't
want to put off sending this or I never will! Please don't laugh at my page
naming. I started off with "just pick a name and get to work on the
information" and now I'm trying too use a "initials and birth year" mode o
Could I get you to take a look at my page for William and Hannah at
http://www.angelfire.com/ar/pyeatt/Wm1792.html and see if I need to make any
corrections or if you can add to what I have. Thanks, Marianne

Forgot to say: I have had this history of Wm and Hannah for quite some time
from Ken Lemmon. I did receive a larger file from Ron and Jeannie Lemmon
just the other day which sites sources for all of the information. The
reference for Benjamin on their history is "Langwell, J -- LDS site". Their
history included over a hundred source references - WAY TO GO, GUYS! - and
so, I'm going to have to figure out a good way to list these references when
I integrate their work with that of Ken's. By the way, Do I need

Laverne,
I am interested in getting the complete collection of the Piatt newsletters.
ARe my calculations correct that it will cost $225?
Thanks,

Marianne,
The other day you posted all the web pages for many Piatt families. One was
for the above family. Have you been able to prove that Benjamin was the
father of William Piatt? When I gave this information to a few people, I
stated that it was my opinion that Benjamin could be the father. I did not
state I had proof of any kind. Therefore, is it good to list it as such on
my opinion only?
Dick Piatt, PA.
I think I am having trouble sending and receiving e-mails from the list. I
sent a message twice in the last two days on William and Hannah Tindall
Piatt, but did not see it come across. Can someone advise if they saw them.
Thanks! Sorry to be a pain!!!

I would love to have a copy of Volume 7 of the Piatt Family Newsletter, 1992.
I am not sure yet which of the five brothers of the Revolution I am connected to: my
search is just in its infancy and some of the information I have conflicts (such a
suprise in genealogy).
My great grandfather (Martin Luther) came to Idaho in the late 1800s to work in the
lumber industry. Before that he came from Wisconsin - his father came from Ohio.

The records excerpted here were found by Richard O Piatt a couple of years ago
when the Piatt Researchers met in Bridgewater VA and researched in Winchester,
Frederick Co VA. Any comments as to who this WILLIAM PYATT might have been
and his connection to the rest of the bunch would be appreciated.

Hi David, Where is Shelby Twp Mi ? I am also doing Piatt research, from
William and Hannah Tindall Piatt. They were from New Jersey and eventually
found their way to Northern Indiana, Southern Mi. We live in Ca. for the
winter months and Western Mi for the summer in a small town near Shelby Mi.
Good luck in your research. Nancy Piatt Tosch
Hi all,
I should have listed that Benjamin Piatt as father of William is only an
opinion -- sorry! Dick is correct and I initially got that opinion from him
and another researcher.
By the way, the original info on William and Hannah from Ken Lemmon actually
originated with me -- Ken is my father-in-law, so what I have sent recently
supercedes that. He had my initial research, to which I have subsequently
added and corrected.

Hi Marianne!
I don't think anyone would laugh at all your hard work. Thanks so much for
taking all the time and trouble to put this all together! I have been
working a lot on my families and have some updates to add to your info and
some conflicting dates, etc. I will just copy the page you put up and add my
changes and citations, etc. to your info. Then it should be easy for you to
print out and compare and make any changes or not, as you wish. :)

Laverne,
I haven't ever attended the Piatt Family Conference, I'm new to genealogy and would like to know more about the Conference. Are there thing setup as a group or do most of the people do research on there own? I would like to see some the fine people that have helped me with the little bit of the line I have. I believe this would be a good learning experience for me. But I wouldn't want to be in the way. What do you think? Do I need to send any money in advance? Would there be a time and place to

Tomorrow I will be signing and returning the contract for the 2001 Piatt
Researchers' Conference. I was going to wait until I had received my copy
back from the college before making the posting but there was a question on
the list about the dates and location yesterday. So I will post the
information and I _hope_ it is not subject to change.
We had hoped to be in New Jersey, near Trenton, for 2001. However, there are
strange insurance regulations in New Jersey and we were not able to secure a

Hi list, I was reading some of my items I brought back from a
research-vacation in IL. and WI. this summer. I have been adding to my pc
records a page at a time as I find time. Last night I found these pages
which I had come across in a library while I was searching for my Piatts.
They very well and most likely are related to the Piatts in my grd mother's
family.
BUT, I have done the most unforgivable sin! I forgot to write where I found
them! It must have been one of the nights that I ran across info jus

Hi, thanks for writing but don't think any of the Pyatts listed were our. But
Sangamon is a County in Ill. We had a David Pyatt from Ohio go to Ill. and
then to Missouri where he either died or we lost him. We have never
determined his heritage yet. He married an Elizabeth Sackett. Thank anyway.
