I did have to cringe at one piece of information. I am researching a
Benjamin Pyeatt (possibly of St. Louis Co, MO) who was a son of John Pyeatt
who died c1827 in Jefferson Co, MO. The only info that I have on this son is
that he was the third born c1797 near Meramac Settlement, Jefferson/St Louis
County, MO; that he administered his father's estate from 1827-1834; that he
did not have a w
I'm the grandson of Millard and Marion Piatt who lived all their lives
in the Cuddebackville, and Westbrookville area of New York. I have
traced back to Daniel, who was married to a Rhoda Campbell and Asenath
?. I'm trying to link him to John D. married to Jane Henarie.
I have a site with all my information on it at;

Relax!
Benjamin died in MO because he died there while serving in the war. His
children were born in Ohio and Indiana and there is no other record of him
nor his wife in MO. The father of this Benjamin is James, Augusta Co, VA.
His wife received a pension while living in Indiana and she is buried there.

Hi Marianne,
The list I gave you is a partial list of Confederate and Union Soldiers -
the rest of the states have not been entered as yet. I will however,
keep checking at the battlefield and will get back to you as more names
are added. I am including the states and units if known on the
previously sent list. There are also some newly added ones too. Here
goes:
Union

Pyatt, Stephen A./NY/17th
Sorry, someone told me that there is a colon or semi-colon showing up at the
end of the URL. If you will type in the address that I listed without the
semicolon at the end or if you will click on it and then when it says "Page
not Found" or something, go into the URL address and delete the semicolon.
Also, I forgot to mention, If any of you want to contribute your marriages,
deaths, obits, bible records, census records, etc. that I don't have -- I
would certainly appreciate it. Marianne

Hello fellow researchers!
I have decided to add a page for Piatt/Pyeatt/etc family lines or
"rollcall" to my website at www.angelfire.com/ar/pyeatt/lines.html
I have added a few that I already had from personal correspondance with
some of you. I believe I may have saved the original "rollcall" emails that
many of you posted. However, to be on the safe side, and because many didn't
include locations and date ranges. Could you post
your line again (that is, if you want me to include it). An example of m
Hello list!
This is Christine, the list owner for the Piatt-L mailing list from
Rootsweb. I just wanted to let you all know that I will be attending
the Piatt Researchers' Conference next week, and will stay on vacation
until the 6th of July.
Overall, there will be no change in the way the list runs. I have found
a volunteer list-sitter, so as long as everyone behaves themselves,
there should be no problems!
We hope to find lots of new information at the conference, I'm sure
there will be a complete re
Hello,
I had saved this email and am ready to add your list to my civil war page
on my website. Is this a comprehensive list of Pyeatts from the Civil War?
Or, are these from MO? Also, I re-did the National Archive form 80 using
better info on Wm D Pyatt and hope to get something soon. Thanks again,
Marianne
