Here is a website that says some of Tabitha Alviria Piatt's ancestors were Quakers. Let me know what you think?

Hello, Phyllis. Your story sounds amazingly like mine. Guess it is a
common historical background for settlers moving into Indian occupied areas. The
Piatt in my family was my GREAT GREAT grandmother MARGARETT PYEATT, BORN
DECEMBER 12, 1807 IN TENNESSEE AND MARRIED TO MY GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER THOMAS
JEFFERSON CABE, IRISH, BORN APRIL 11, 1793 ON SHIPBOARD FROM IRELAND TO
AMERICA. THEIR DAUGHTER ELIZABETH "LIZZIE" CABE WAS LISTED IN THE US CENSUS AS

For Philly925:
I believe your Piatt line descends from John and Rebecca Piatt who were in the Montgomery Co OH census in 1820. We don't know Rebecca's maiden name. At least one of their sons claimed to have been born in either Rockbridge or Rockingham Co VA.
This line went on into Darke Co OH and Indiana counties. For years they had a large reunion. I don't know if they still do.
We have a participant who descends from John and Rebecca Piatt in our DNA study at:

Hi Judeth--
I show your Margarett born in Warren Co, KY--can you clarify for me? Also I
could use more info on the Cabes--Thomas lists his birth in the census as
being in TN; this is the first Ive heard on the Irish thing!
As for your Piatts, well they trace directly back to Rene so far as I can
tell. No indians that I know of.

Any idea which William this is?

Hi Phyllis--
John Piatt's father was indeed Jacob Piatt, born around 1809 in Rockingham
Co, VA. He died in Darke Co, OH in 1879. Jacob's wife (John's mother) was
Elizabeth Woliver, born 1807 in Pennsylvannia and died in the early 1890's
in Darke Co, OH. Jacob and Elizabeth were married in 1833 in Montgomery Co,
OH.
I have no record of any native american influences on this family whatsoever
but details on Jacob's father are few. His father's name was John and his
mother was Rebecca.
