According to the map I have from the library, the name is spelled Wola Ociecka, at least the town right above Ocieka. Could there be another one that is spelled without the a? Hi Karen, My ancestors came from Ocieka, just below Wola Ociecka. Chances are they attended the church in Ocieka since I do not see a church in that village. Is anyone doing research for the village of Wola Ociecka, a tiny village NNE of Debica? I am searching for the parents/family of Joseph Malczynski, born there about 1877; immigrated to US in 1907, and settled in Newark, NJ. Many thanks! --Karen

You need to be careful of your spellings, especially when you are seeking assistance from others. In the subject line you say Wola Ocieck while in other parts of your note you wirte Wola Ociecka.
