Marv, I was in Poland Sept/Oct. 2000. The weather was quite pleasant though a light jacket or sweater was needed especially in the evenings. It was downright cold at the end of the first week in October in Pul~tusk though. The one thing I noticed most was the burning of the left-overs in the fields. This is done all over Poland and the smoke can hang in the air if there isn't a breeze. This may not mean much to you but coming from Texas where our two seasons are green and brown, the fall colors in Poland

I looked at them, and they look to me like Gosawice and Goslawice, with the second probably being correct - there are lots of them in Poland. The second town name after that one is destination - Norwich Connecticut. I have found the discussion of money to Poland most interesting. About a month ago I sent money to Poland using a bank transfer. I paid $40.00 and the fee is the same regardless of how much you send, $100 or $1,000. I sent money to an archive which was $40.00. I felt that the cost of $40.00 for the bank transfer was ridiculous since that was what I owed. I sent a bank check which cost me nothing. The only drawback is that when they deposited the money they cannot withdraw it until the check clears a
