Hi Josette, You are right, I did a Google Search and found the Wolfe page as well as the Pennsylvania State Archives page at http://www.phmc.state.pa.us/bah/dam/landrec.htm both reference "Old Rights" but I didn't get the impression that they are different than those in the third series. Vol 2 of the 3rd series has warrants, 1682-1729 later volumes have these organized by county beginning in 1733. Jim ----- Original Message ----- From: "Josette L. Maxwell" To:

Dear Mr. Hamm, Perhaps you can help steer me in the right direction. I have been searching high and low for information on William Edmundson (1627-1712) descendants. I have also wondered what happened to his brothers who also removed to Ireland, and their descendants. I have managed to obtain a copy of the second edition of William's journal through a cousin. Hi Josette, I've never heard of the "Original Rights Warrants. The original books were kept in Philadelphia and are now in the Pa. State Archives in Harrisburg, you might check their web page. The term "Rights" in Pennsylvania is generally associated with the liberties given to citizens and not associated with land. I have a booklet called, "William Penn's Orignial Proposal and Plan for the Founding & Building of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, America, in 1683". (Reprinted by James Coleman, Genealo
