1. Elmer (Re: calling...) [1]
Elmer, I hate that too, and I can't believe I did that-- I sure regret it came across that way, because I've vocalized agaist that very thing in the past. I assure you it's the first time I ever did that. Also because if this response is any indication, it might have achieved the opposite of what I intended. I was so abrupt because I was so pressed for time-- tomorrow is the last time I'll have to be online probably for some time (will be back at work). I guess also I'm somewhat frustrated, as despite m

The second had these thee options, none of which I pursued: *The Daily News' pre-parade coverage; *Channel 17's page on the upcoming parade; *The 1990 lineup. 3. calling for all John MASONs b. 1750-1785 [1]
I would like y'all to search and tell me of all the John MASONs b. 1750-1785 anywhere overseas (that perhaps went overseas), or born anywhere MA to VA-- all, except those that could not possibly have married Mary MERVINE in 1801 in Berks Co., PA. If he was born as early as 1750, Mary was perhaps his second marriage (he would be age 51 in 1801)-- the 5 children from that 2nd marriage being born 1802-1813. If he was born as late as 1785, of course the marriage to Mary would be the 1st (and possibly only) ma
4. IN, White Lick MM: Jesse & John Milton Cook [0.978955]
This Posting contains the surnames: ALLEN, BARTON, BILLS, COOK, COOKE, FOREST, HADLEY, MARSHILL/MARSHALL, MILLS. I had been looking for a Milton COOK with no luck. I found a John Milton COOK, who I believe is my ancestor. I don't have the Encylopedia of Quaker Genealogy Volumes 7 (by Heiss), which I believe contain the White Lick, Indiana Quaker MM, so I can't verify that I have this line correct. I'll post it here so people can poke holes in it. Hopefully somebody will recognize the family. John COOK
5. Re: John JERMAN [0.978955]
I too am interested in John Jerman. My first Pugh ancestor to America is listed as having been married at the home of John Jerman. Evidently this John Jerman lived next door to the Pugh family (James Pugh married Joan Price in 1692 in PA). I have a map of the land showing what John and James owned and it appears they were neighbors. Don't know which John Jerman this was though. 7. Third Haven Meeting [0.978955]
I thought I sent this message, but can't find it in my file, so will do again--hope that doesn't make twice! To partially answer Larry's question re the Third Haven (or Tredhaven as sometimes called) in Talbot Co., MD. There is a book called "Quakers on the Eastern Shore" by Kenneth Carroll, pub. by the MD Historical Soc. in 1970 (& probably out of print.) It gives narrative history of the area, and in the appendix gives abstracted records from Third Haven, Northwest Fork, & Cecil Meetings. In the Thi
8. DILLINGHAM/CONNECTICUT QUAKERS? [0.978955]
Dear Friends, I am searching for one John Dillingham, who married Clarissa Olcott in Manchester, CT in 1793. I have searched Connecticut State Archives fairly exhaustively, but haven't found much to go on, some on Clarissa, but little or nothing on John. We are trying to establish who John's parents were, and where John came from . . . It almost feels to me like there may be Quaker records that show something, and that's why its not in the civil records. But, I've never heard or seen any documentation a

12. Nottingham Meeting Records [0.978955]
Fellow listors: I have the Nottingham book and will happy to do look-ups as time allows....please, try to be as specific as you can. The family units are large, so it won't be possible to give ALL the possibilities for a surname, etc. If you know the bride and groom, or the bride OR groom - fire away! ....Candy :)

Hi,Lewis I live in Van Wert Co. Ohio, thats just below Paulding Co. Do you know what township the cemetery is in? Years ago, when I lived with my grandparents I picked up one of there habits. On Sunday we would go for a drive, just to get out and see places. Well I do the same thing, and if you know the township, maybe the cemetery I will go there and take a picture of the grave and send it to you. Have a nice day. 21. MOSES BOWEN [0.978955]
I did get a lead on the William Bowen of Chester County, PA. Possibly, it is Moses Bowen and wife Rebekah or Rebecca Reece, who came to Chester in the late 1600s and had 3 sons, William, dates unknown, Henry, b. 1686 d. 1755, John, b. 1705 d. 1760. I am told William remained in PA and Henry and John moved to VA. Does anyone have more on the ancestry of this line? With a little more documentation and information, it may well be what I was searching for. Thanks for all your help!

23. BLOCKLEY twp - revisited [0.978955]
Hi List ! Thanks to all who responded to where is or was Blockley twp. Actually, I was looking for the location of the MM there. One of my line, a Gwen Ellis married a Richard Morris of Upper Merion in 1703. certificate states she was from Blockley no twp or MM mentioned. Gwen was the sister of my ancestor Cadwalader Ellis and his brother Humphrey of Goshen. What was Gwen doing in Blockley when her family lived in Goshen ? Regards, Lloyd Ellis
