Hi, I've been looking at all those baptisms that occur either on the same day of the birth or the day after. Having had a few babies myself, I have been in awe that these newborns were exposed to the weather and the modes of transportation that would be necessary in winter in Quebec, let alone the mothers....(who probably did not attend, since in those days they were "confined" to bed for several days.
