Robert T Bean who married Nancy M Quesenberry was the son of Robert Bean
who was the son of Jesse Bean and Elizabeth Mitchell and brother to
Elizabeth "Betsy" (Bean) Quesenberry. Sorry for the deletion of a

Quesenberry's birth as 30 Mar 1825 in Wilson Co TN. What Alice didn't
post was she died 26 Apr 1905 and is buried in Indian Creek Cem in Cooke
Co TX. She married Robert T Bean on 22 Jul 1842 in Franklin Co AR. She
was the daughter of John Quesenberry and Martha "Patsy" Major. Her
siblings were: Lucinda b. 1815; Willliam C b. 1818; H.A. b 1820; John M
b. 1822; Mary Jane "Polly" b. 1827; Martha Elizabeth b. 1830. Will you

I am trying to help my friend find his roots, and I need help in finding
the parents of his Grand Mother Immogene {Emma Jean?} Quesenberry , born
in Pulaski Co.Va. She married 2 times and the 2nd. husband 's last name
was Dillard. She had atleast 1 daughter named Alma Louis Dillard born
abt. 1917 in Pulaski Co. Alma married a Al Ralph Davis s/o John Ralph

I have a James Quesenberry b. in Grayson Co. Va. 1796 and died 1840
in Pulaski Co. Va. in 1845. His spouse' name was Elizabeth
(Edwards?????) m.in Va. there is no mention of any children or
Christrian Co. Ky. but the file I'm looking at is one I keep close at
hand for quick lookups that may be in direct line to my ancestors. If
your James is my James his parents were George and Martha (Slinker)

Regarding the variations of Quesenberry/Quisenberry spellings...There are two
common spellings of the name... Quesenberry and Quisenberry and both clans
are reputed to have sprung from a common ancestor. Then there is also
Quesinberry vs. Quesenberry.
The name is German and means "crested mountain"
I think we have all run across a wide variety of spellings for our names,
depending on what was heard by the person recording the information or how
one interprets what was written. This is just another

I have exerpts from a book Origine of the name and family of Quisenberry in
which it states that James Harvey Quisenberry was born in Fayette county,
Virginia (Now Clark county, Ky on March 13, 1786 He was the son of Rev
James Quisenberry and Jane Burris. James Harvey moved to Kenry county Ly
where he was murdered August 5, 1822 and where he now has numerous descenta
ts. Rose Mary Lawson.
