I sent an email yesterday in regards to Albert Quillin of Arkansas. I
apologize to those that received it and it had a colored background. I copied and
pasted the text of original email I received and was not aware that the
background would presents itself as it did. Again, please accept my apology.

Are any of you having Quillen Family Reunions that you would like to
advertise on the Quillen Ancestral Archive? It's almost summertime and
I want to get this page up for those who wish to attend the many
reunions going on across the country.
Please email me the dates, locations and contact phone numbers/addresses
for your reunions! I appreciate it!

Hi Everyone,
I'm beginning a new project at the Quillen Ancestral Archive called the
"U.S. Quillen Family Search" in hopes of linking together the many
Quillen families scattered across the United States. If you have not
been able to link up with Teague Quillen of Virginia, please send me
your information and I will get it posted on the site.
Feel free to check out this Search project and you will see what I'm
hoping to accomplish. I feel sure this will help us all bridge the gaps
between our families.

I am seeking information on William H. Quillin, my great-great grandfather
who was a seacaptain , married to Margaret ? and lived from 1809 - 1861.
Born either Del. or MD. Have not been able to get back further. Any
information will be much appreciated.

I don't suppose this could be your William Quillen, could it? I am only
guessing at the dates, judging by the birthdates of the children.

1964 article is about Ireland (I am assuming it is the Aug 64 article), and
contains nothing about Quillin, although there is a minor bit of history
sprinkled in with the commentary on Ireland.
1935 contains a grand total of maybe two paragraphs withe reference to
MacQuillin - the only significant mention is a legend about the demise of
the Mac Quillin clan at the hands of the MacDonnels as told by a local tour
guide of sorts -
"After they were practically wiped out and the last of them of any
consequence

I have found out that there are articles about QUILLIN and / or Dunluce Castle
in 2 National Geographic Magazines. One is dated in 1964 and the other is in
1935.
Does anybody have a copy of these articles?
Thanks,
Vicki Quillan

I am in search of Alice Quillen M Henry M Quillen Oct. 25, 1883 in Hendricks
County, IN. I believe their children to be Ethel Quillen b 1884 in IN and
Elsie Mildred Quillen b Feb. 1886 in KS, died 1963. Elsie was married to Ira
Collins.
Perhaps Alice had been married to another Quillen or her maiden name was
Quillen. Does this fit anything anyone on the list has?

The Sound Methodist Church is located approximately one mile east of
Williamsville, DE on Route 54 and about 11 miles from the ocean. It is just
north of the Delaware/Maryland border. The Delaware county is Sussex and the
Maryland county is Worcester.
I received this thru another mailing list I am on and thougth I would share,
hope it helps.... Good luck to all. ( I do not have the booklet, but can
provide the entire list of names to those who wish)
I received a booklet titled "Heritage of the Sound Church, Founded 1779"
from a member of the church.. I believe it was compiled about 1976. Besides
a history of the church, this booklet contains the minister's names and
dates they served, baptismal records consisting of birth date and parents'
names and
The infomation came across on a Baltimore, Maryland mailing list I subscribe
to. For the life of me I can not locate the original email!!!
