I am still wondering about a Thomas F. Quiram, who died 29 November 1979 in Jefferson Co., Kentucky.
The Social Security Death Index and the Kentucky Death Records both list his age at death as 204 years old. This has to be a mistake! Could he be the same as Thomas A. Quiram, and have been 20 yrs. and 4 months old at death??
There is a Thomas A. Quiram, born about 1959, who married Carol R. Shoemaker on 17 Feb. 1979 in Jefferson Co., KY. Thomas A. Quiram is son of Wesley and Barbara L. Quiram. Wesley

Eric has just joined the Quiram E-Mail List. I'm sure I can place him in
the family tree, if I find out more about him. This is his original

On the Minnesota Death Certificate Index I found reference to Theodore Leo Quiram, b. 1911, d. 23 December 1941 Jeffers, Cottonwood Co., MN.
I have also located his grave in the Jeffers City Cemetery.
Was he a grandson of Stephen Quiram (b. 1846 Prussiaa, d. Cottonwood Co., MN)?
Who were Theodore's parents?

Does anyone know who Pam Day-Quiram belongs to? She was 40 yrs. old and passed away on Feb. 3, 2004 at Porterville, CA. Here is an obit. from the Fresno Bee that is very brief. Another obit appeared in the Porterville Recorder (but that site charges to access online obituaries).

Dear Quiram Researchers:
Rootsweb has been encouraging some of the surname lists to split up into
separate lists for each variation of spellings. In some ways this is good,
and in some ways maybe it isn't. When someone does a key word search, they
will need to try different spellings anyway.
To help facilitate research and maybe put other researchers together who are
researching the same spelling of the surname, I have started two new surname
lists on Rootsweb.
KWIRAM mailing list is for the discussion
Dear Quiram Researchers:
Rootsweb has starting up regional/locality/town lists worldwide, as well as
surname lists. Several of us Quiram researchers are very interested in our
heritage back in Prussia. The main town of origin for almost every
Quiram/Quiram descendant that I have made contact with seems to be
Schonlanke (now Trzcianka, Poland).
There are others researching in Schonlanke/Trzcianka as well, and most of
the German Lutheran families there intermarried and immigrated to the U.S.
together, etc

Here is the current listing of unplaced Quirams which I have in my database.
Some of these are founders of large families and show the first immigrant
from Germany. A few of these actually lived in Germany, and I have a
listing of some of their descendants. Others are miscellaneous unplaced
Quirams which I have acquired information on from various sources.
If anyone can provide the parents' named of any of these Quirams, then I
could probably place them into the correct place in my database.
Let me know
