He was born about January 1887 and married about 1908. It has been said there was a fire in the Laurens Co GA courthouse that destroyed some records of about this time. Seasons greetings and all that holiday stuff! Let's see if we can get things rolling here and into the holiday spirit! Did your family have any special traditions that were carried down over the years or any special Christmas heirloom ornaments, displays or anything of that nature? Do you have any special memories for the season? We don't have to confine the discussion strictly to Christmas here--Hannukah discussion or even Winter Solstice would work! Or 'any other' tradition you might like to share...
