Howdy- My great-aunt, Sarah Hannah Hollis, indicates on her marriage certificate (Macon Co., IL, Nov. 25, 1880) that before this marriage to a Boyd Shannon she had been married previously to a Ramer. There is also an entry in the 1889 Census for that county for a Sarah H. Raymer, 27, b. IN, widowed, with a son, William J. Raymer, age 1, b. MO whose father's birthplace is given as NY.
