My 87-year old mother recently unearthed a genealogical chart done by one of her cousins for my mother's father's (Eugene Erlenback) side of the family. It includes Peter Rauscher, b. 1826 or 1827 in Dermingen France/Alsace Lorraine. He was my great-great grandfather. He lived in Talcotville, New York and owned a sawmill there. My Mother was Alvira Rauscher Taylor Thein. My name is also Alvira. My step sisters were Laura and Betty. Although I no longer live in St.Louis area I went back there until my Mother died. What would you like to know and why are you looking? Are we related? Would be interested in hearing from you.
