Martha Greer, Pat, & List: On February 9, 2002, I posted two articles to RHEA-L entitled " ELIZABETH RHEA, DAUGHTER of JAMES & ELIZABETH (SNAPP) RHEA and GRANDDAUGHTER of REV. JOSEPH RHEA (Part 1 & 2). This followed a rather lengthy correspondence with Mary Ellen RHEA McKELVEY who is also a descendant of Elizabeth FRENCH. Her first husband was a HENRY. The following April Mary Ellen and her husband did further research in Blount County, TN, including locating Elizabeth's grave. The two articles can

I have James Rhea that m: Mary Paul as born 1741 with the son John born Mar 07, 1776 but I don't know if they had any children -- I don't have any children listed for them --- have not really worked this group of Rhea's ! Good morning from Texas, I am trying to find info related to my gr-grgrandmother - Elizabeth Rhea French born in TN about 1809. During that time period I have found James, John and Jesse Rhea (Ray). I have found that James Rhea and Mary Paul had a son, John born in 1741 who married Rebecca Miller in Blount TN March 3, 1800. Does anyone know if John and Rebecca had any children and if so any names or dates? I find Elizabeth Rhea in the 1840 Blount census with two male children under 5 which confirms what
